This Privacy Policy outlines our commitment to protecting the confidentiality and integrity of information entrusted to us by our clients, partners, and visitors ("you"). Our practices are governed by strict adherence to global data sovereignty standards, including GDPR and CCPA.
1. Information Collection & Utilization
We collect only the signals necessary to calibrate our engagement. This includes:
- Strategic Data: Name, organization, role, and strategic context shared voluntarily through our forms or direct communication.
- Technical Telemetry: Only with your consent, measurement data processed by Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads through Google Tag Manager: pages viewed, session duration, device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and ad interaction signals.
2. Data Sovereignty
Your information is never sold, rented, or traded. It is used exclusively to assess strategic fit and deliver value within an engagement context. We do not use data brokers. Measurement data reaches Google only when you accept cookies (see sections 5 and 6 below).
3. Data Processing & Storage
All data is processed and stored in compliance with applicable data protection regulations. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and regular security assessments.
4. Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access and receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Request rectification or erasure of your personal data
- Object to or restrict the processing of your personal data
- Data portability where technically feasible
5. Cookies & Consent
- sm-consent (browser storage, 6 months): records whether you accepted or declined. Strictly necessary.
- _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics, up to 2 years): distinguish visitors and sessions for aggregate usage statistics. Set only after you accept.
- _gcl_au and Google Ads cookies on google.com domains (up to 90 days): attribute enquiries to advertising and measure campaign performance. Set only after you accept.
You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through the "Cookies" link in the footer of every page, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
6. Third-Party Processors
We rely on the following processors. Each acts under its own privacy terms and, for transfers outside the EEA and Türkiye, under standard contractual safeguards.
- Google Ireland Limited: Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement (only with your consent).
- Google Forms: the Strategic Diagnostic application on our contact page is a Google Form; what you submit is stored in our Google Workspace account.
- YouTube: embedded talks load from youtube-nocookie.com only after you press play; YouTube's privacy policy applies from that moment.
- Hetzner Online GmbH: hosting and content delivery (servers in Germany); standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) are kept briefly for security and reliability.
- Google Workspace: email correspondence with info@stochasticminds.com.
7. Retention
Application and correspondence data is kept for as long as needed to evaluate and, where applicable, deliver an engagement, and for up to 24 months after our last contact unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in our Google Analytics property and then deleted or aggregated. Your cookie choice expires after 6 months.
8. Personal Data Protection in Türkiye (KVKK)
Under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK), the data controller is Stochastic Minds, Istanbul, Türkiye. Personal data is processed for the purposes described above on the legal bases of the performance of pre-contractual steps at your request, our legitimate interest in operating and securing this site, and, for measurement cookies, your explicit consent, which also covers the transfer of that data to Google servers abroad.
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may learn whether your personal data is processed, request information about the processing and its purpose, learn the domestic or foreign recipients, request correction or deletion, object to results produced by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
